I’m Chris—husband, dad, expat, CEO, fitness fanatic, and unapologetic lover of life on the road. My journey started in Cheltenham, England, where I grew up across the street from a football stadium, balancing my time between pub quizzes, Saturday matches, and a (slightly obsessive) quest to find the ultimate Cornish pasty. Spoiler alert: I’m still searching.
But life had bigger plans. On a break from studying film production at university, I took a leap and landed in the Pocono Mountains, teaching football and tennis at a summer camp. It was there I met Morgan, the love of my life. One thing led to another (including a lakeside proposal), and now I’m living proof that the best things in life begin with travel.
Fast forward a few years: we’ve traded our “normal” life for a nomadic one. Together we’ve hit the road full-time, exploring the U.S. and beyond in search of new adventures, breathtaking views, and stories worth telling.
As the CEO of my own videography business, I’m lucky enough to combine my love of storytelling with a passion for travel. Whether it’s capturing a sunrise in the Rockies, recording memories at a bustling city market, or chasing the perfect shot of our family roasting marshmallows by the campfire, every day is an opportunity to create something meaningful.
Being an expat has shaped my perspective in ways I never imagined. It’s taught me the beauty of stepping out of your comfort zone, embracing new cultures, and finding a home wherever your feet land—or, in our case, wherever our fifth wheel parks.
More than anything, I want to inspire others to embrace the nomadic life and see the world not just as a place to visit, but as a place to truly live. Life is an adventure, and we’re writing our story one mile at a time.
